MLB Pitcher has Shoulder Labral Stem Cell

A Major League Baseball professional pitcher, with a torn shoulder glenoid labrum, had arthroscopic surgery. He returned to play. Many MLB pitchers do not make it back to pitch professionally after shoulder surgery.
This pitcher heard about Dr. Lox and what he did for another MLB pitcher with stem cell therapy and upon referral from his trainer saw Dennis M. Lox, MD,. Dr. Lox is an expert in Sports and Regenerative Medicine and the utilization of stem cells for treating musculoskeletal injuries.
The pitcher elected to undergo stem cell therapy for his pitching shoulder with Dr. Lox. Initially, he had some minor soreness which quickly resolved. He began training after a designated time with his trainer and is back to throwing faster heat. If the pitcher throws faster the scouts are interested. This leads to being resigned by a sports team. Such is the nature of professional sports.
Weekend warriors from Tennis players, golfers, and weightlifters are prone to shoulder disorders. Loss of their “game” may not be how they earn a living, but it often translates to their happiness. Stem cell therapy and Regenerative Medicine applications are not just a fad in sports. Helping Mother Nature heal without surgery or drugs may just want the Regenerative Medicine doctor ordered. Regenerative medicine has taken hold in mainstream medicine. Surgical repair techniques using biological scaffolds also are regenerative medicine techniques.
